About

Stories have always been an integral part of our lives, for they entertain, influence and inspire the mankind to achieve greater feats. With ‘digital’ dominating the entertainment domain, our pursuit for cinema is also echoing to the grand shift. To no one’s wonder, Short Films have swiftly created a niche, parallel to the big-budget feature films and the space only grows bigger! Because short is sovereign, it doesn’t have the extra baggage, it has the power to be brutally honest and remain artistic in its DNA.

Bolti Khidkiyaan - Short Film Festival is one such joint venture of Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mukesh Chhabra. With immense passion for films at its very core, the festival nourishes the idea of reveling and empowering the new-age-cinema. It assimilates, at one junction, the energy of aspiring writers/directors and the acumen of industry’s most celebrated film-makers like Anurag Kashyap, Imtiaz Ali, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Abhishek Kapoor, Vikramaditya Motwane and Ashwini Iyer Tiwari to name a few.

We endeavor to bring such stories at one podium and nurture them with cutting edge technology and right mentorship to showcase them in front of the film fraternity. Join us in this grand carnival of storytelling where everybody learns, grows and celebrates the brilliance of cinema.

Khidkiyaan - Theatre Festival

In 2016, Khidkiyaan Theatre Festival set an example by developing theatre culture amongst youth, and bringing film and theatre fraternity together to celebrate the brilliance of this performing art. It was followed by an even grander version in 2017 as Colors Khidkiyaan 2017.
